Izovac Co. has completed development of a new generation of the highly precise desk-type spectrophotometer Laymer. A new Laymer II will differ from its predecessor by availability of the supporting channel, a polarizer and a depolarizer, by possibility of measuring the beam splitter cubes and calibration by wavelengths. The procedure of emission source lamp replacement will become more comfortable. Besides, the device will have a more attractive design. The renewed Laymer will be available for sale since the second quarter of 2008.
