Purpose:

Technology of ion-beam sputtering IBSS is designed for deposition of precision multi-layer coatings having high density and low roughness.

Distinguishing merits of technology IBSS are deposition of coatings without drift in time effect under exposure of atmospheric and various climatic conditions, which is one of most stringent requirements of modern optical and functional coatings.

Additional advantages of technology IBSS are the possibility to conduct reactive and non-reactive processes in one chamber without re-adjustment (for instance, target Si allows to obtain coatings SiO₂, Si₃N₄), as well as to deposit coatings on thermally sensitive substrates (plastics, etc.).

The system is complete with power supply units of series IPS-1 and IPS-C2.
